A native of Long Beach, California, Patrick Cantlay is currently one of the top-ranked golfers in the world. Patrick first came on the golf scene with one of the most prolific amateur careers in history, including 54-consecutive weeks as the top-ranked amateur in the world. In 2019, Patrick first broke into the Top-10 of the Official World Golf Rankings. In a testament to his consistency, Patrick has been a staple in the Top-10 since that time and is currently ranked #4 in the OWGR. He has eight official PGA Tour victories and was a member of winning US Ryder Cup (2020) and Presidents Cup (2019 & 2022) teams.

 

Patrick’s career highlights include his 2021 FedEx Cup Championship in which he finished the season with back-to-back wins at the BMW Championship and Tour Championship. That same season, Patrick earned PGA Tour Player of the Year honors. In 2022, Patrick had another successful campaign winning the Zurich Classic and BMW Championship; his back-to-back wins at the BMW Championship were the first successful defense of a playoff event in PGA Tour history.

 

Patrick founded The Patrick Cantlay Foundation in 2019 focusing on initiatives to grow the game of junior golf as well as assisting and advocating on behalf of first responders. Patrick is an official ambassador of the First Responders Children’s Foundation. Patrick currently resides in Jupiter, Florida, and is regarded as a lifelong learner; he is an avid reader and enjoys card games and all types of movies.
